Karuna Charitable Trust (KCT) is a non-profit making organization registered under The Indian Trust Act, 1882. KCT has been working in Gorakhpur district since January, 2023. KCT has been striving for the betterment of the most deprived and marginalized section of the society so that no one remains hungry, unemployed, uneducated and exploited as its target group since inception. KCT journey is 1.5 year old.

History:

Karuna Charitable Trust (KCT) was formed in 2023 by a group of social activists getting inspired by great freedom fighters and social educators like Mahatma Gandhi, Acharya Vinoba Bhave and Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan. It works in Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh. The Vision of Karuna Charitable Trust (KCT) is to establish a people led society where no one remains hungry, unemployed, uneducated and exploited and the mission is to empower poor people through social cohesiveness and livelihood creation with special emphasis on socio-economic empowerment of Rural and Urban Dalit, Minorities, Deprived Section like farmers, unemployed youth, illiterate demos, labors and destitute women & children. We have a good infrastructure and competent human resources.
